The OVCA needs volunteers for the 2016 Tim Horton’s Brier 50/50 program. Proceeds from the 50/50 program will stay in the Ottawa Valley and be used by the OVCA to support curling among its member clubs and curlers so this is a great opportunity to not only see some of the Brier action but to contribute to the sport in the Valley.

Ideally, volunteers will agree to work 3 Brier draws during the event. Here is what is required:
o Volunteers will NOT be required to purchase Brier wearing apparel but can wear their club jackets.
o Volunteers will arrive at TD Place 1 hour and 15 minutes before the draw starts.
o Volunteers will receive free admission for the draw(s) on which they are working. These tickets will allow volunteers to have free access to OC Transpo during the day.
o Volunteers will work in teams of two, selling 50/50 tickets in the stands and the hallways until the conclusion of the 5th end.
o Volunteers can enjoy the curling while they are selling 50/50 tickets and after the 5th end.
