Clubs may apply for loans up to $50,000 at a rate of Royal Bank prime minus 1%. The OVCA Board of Administrators is the manager of this fund. Approximately $1.2 million has been loaned under this program.
The Ottawa Valley Curling Association (OVCA) can provide grants for energy efficiency and accessibility capital projects, adult learn-to-curl programs, specialty league ice rentals, the purchase of youth rocks, and for teams representing the OVCA at provincial, national and international competitions.
The Ottawa Valley Curling Association (OVCA) will provide sponsorship funds to OVCA member clubs hosting provincial final competitions and national competitions up to a maximum of $1,000 providing the competition is either the penultimate step (at a provincial level) to a national sanctioned Curling Canada event or is the final step - a Curling Canada-national sanctioned event.
The OVCA offers free web hosting services to its member clubs and centres. Many OVCA clubs have taken advantage of this service which is a great way to connect with your members and provide information to potential curlers.
